Atlanta 2005 Summary
Held at the Georgia Dome another excellent location culminated with the host city winning the Championship entertaining the home crowd with the MVP Dawit Mebratu.
Boston was the Division II champion after a very competitive game against new comers St. George team of Maryland.
There were two other highlights, the children game which was organized by Zelalem from Atlanta and Philadelphia's youth team. And the anticipated game between East & West of former soccer stars ended with West winning 6 - 4. Players that participated were the likes of Fisseha W/Amanuel, Eyaya Arega, Sebsibe Assefa, Rico Giraldi and Mulgetta Wubet.
Guests of honor were Seyoum Abate in sports, Demese Damte in Arts and special guest was athlete Haile GebreSelassie.
Ethiopian business mogul Dr. Sheik Mohammed Al-Amoudi an honorary member of ESFNA was also honored; and he also showed generosity by donating $450,000.00 to ESFNA.
