A city made famous by many movies such as Eddie Murhphy's "Beverly Hills Cop" is a short distance away from Little Ethiopia (about 5 mins) ; this would make a nice afternoon visit driving up and down the famous Rodeo Drive with its glamorous shops (ofcourse better deals are found elsewhere in LA such as Downtown).
Beverly Hills
The famous city where the actors live is in the western part of Los Angeles County, California, almost entirely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles. It is bordered on the north by the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, on the east by the City of West Hollywood and the Fairfax District of the City of Los Angeles, on the south by Los Angeles and on the west by Westwood Village and Century City, which are neighborhoods of Los Angeles and not separate incorporated cities.

Rodeo Drive
Rodeo Drive is probably the single most famous, most prestigious shopping street on the planet, and it anchors a larger shopping district that is absolutely without equal.
Fashionista ground zero - Beverly Hills is where the pages of Vogue and Elle actually come to life. From the best-known names to the smallest, one-of-a-kind boutiques, the fashion offered in Beverly Hills is second to none and has established the city as ground zero among high-style couturiers.
As you stroll Rodeo, you'll recognize the name of every single store...Prada, Escada, Gucci, Valentino, Armani, Versace, Dior, Cartier, Tiffany. Rodeo is a living theater of fashion, art and an endless parade of fascinating people from everywhere.
One block east, Beverly Drive exudes a little less formal air. Beverly is home to the flagship stores of national retailers including Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, The Gap, Banana Republic, Williams Sonoma, as well as Beverly Hills institutions such as Gearys of Beverly Hills and XIV Karats.

See the Star's Homes
Fee: $20 - $40
Length: 30min - 2hours*
As the stars live mostly concentrated in this area, there are tour buses that would take you through the neigborhood and point out where Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher and where in the past John Wayne and Kirk Douglas used to live. The tours are provided by the following companies.
If you would like to do a free tour, buy a map and drive around yourself with friends. You can purchase maps of the stars homes at many shops on Hollywood Boulevard.
Laurel Canyon & Mulholland Dr.
Length: 40min - 1hour*
If you have time to cruise Mulholland Drive, you'll get breathtaking views that can help take you away from the city's relentless pulse.
The hills that separate Hollywood from the Valley are more than a symbolic dividing line between the city slickers and the suburbanites; the hills have a community in their own right and a reputation as a bohemian artist's hideaway for those who have been fortunate enough to make a living at their creative pursuits. The 2002 movie Laurel Canyon provided one view of the lifestyle of one kind of Canyon dwellers -- free-thinking, entertainment-industry movers and shakers who seek a peaceful refuge in their tree-shaded homes. By day they're churning out business deals and working on projects in music and film, by night they're living it up with private gatherings and high spirits, high above the bustle of the city streets.
* Length. Length is an estimated amount of time needed to experience or enjoy this location or activity. The length includes average traffic traveling time either from Little Ethiopia, LA Coliseum or Hotels by the airport area.

Ethio LA 3 Note:
Most of the L. A. sights are free, and we encourage you to schedule these trips around meal and match times. As the attendants spending is the engine behind ESFNA and the communities that host the yearly event we encourage you to attend matches (without match attendees ESFNA suffers) and to eat your meals either in the stadium from our vendors or in Little Ethiopia (our service providers survival and growth depends on your generous spending).
