Downtown Los Angeles is 5 minutes away from LA Coliseum and about 15 minutes from Little Ethiopia. The tall buildings will be seen while in the Coliseum area as they are only 10 city blocks away.

Disney Concert Hall
Length 40min - 1hour*
This is one of the must visit areas in Los Angeles, its only 5 - 10 minutes away from LA Coliseum, make sure you stop by here for some photo opportunities with friends and family. Also the inside tour of the building is free so enjoy it as well. Parking is available directly beneath Walt Disney Concert Hall. Enter on Second Street or Lower Grand Avenue.
Bounded by Hope Street, Grand Avenue, 1st and 2nd Streets, it seats 2,265 people and serves (among other purposes) as the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
The Frank Gehry-designed building opened on October 23, 2003 and features his trademark steel cladding. While the architecture (as with other Gehry works) evoked mixed opinions, the acoustics of the concert hall were widely praised
Movies Shootings...
The downtown area is always busy on the weekends either with a Hollywood feature movie shoot (making) or a commercial shoot such as one for State Farm Auto Insurance or Lexus.
Saturdays and Sundays during the morning area good time to drive through the downtown area and you'll likely catch 2 - 3 movies or commercials being shot within few blocks away from each other.
Good spots to check are:
1. Corner of Hope & Wilshire
2. Corner of Flower & 5th
3. Corner of Grand & 5th
but generally driving in the area will give you a chance to see a major shooting in action.
